The higher the process efficiency, lower fuel consumption, and less impact carbon emissions have on environment. flow characteristics around brick settings are an important field of investigation to acquire control over energy intake production process. current work is a numerical CFD demonstrate fluid characterization inside cooling zone in tunnel kiln for lattice (the number bricks each layer identical). Four different were examined, three validated with published experimental data (settings 1, 2 3). In study, BSL κ-ω turbulent model agrees well results. presents through four (e.g., velocity vectors, contours streamlines) that could not be measured experimentally. also looks at zones vortex formation upstream, downstream column.
